I can't believe that Feb is almost over. I don't know about you, but it flew by for me. We had an exciting month. Nolan, who is 5 months old today, started eating solids. So far he has experienced Rice cereal, Oatmeal, Squash, Peas and Carrots. He has loved all of them. He smiles when he sees the spoon and boy can he eat! I don't remember Nicholas eating this much. Eating solids has really helped him sleep better at night. He goes down around 7 and is up with the sun at 5am! Hopefully, he'll start sleeping a little later soon. He loves to smile and laughs all the time. He is definitely a baby that likes attention and gets mad if you aren't looking at him!
Nicholas is doing good as well. He is such an adorable little boy. He amazes me everyday with what he knows and remembers. He is really into what letter words start with now and always asks "What does that start with?". Then he wants to go over to the fridge and find the letter with you. He visited the dentist for the 1st time on the 12th and loved it (all except the xrays). He talked about going to the dentist for about 2 days.
It is really fun watching Nicholas and Nolan starting to interact with each other. Nolan loves looking at Nicholas. You can tell he is trying to figure out who this crazy little person is that makes so much noise!
As some of you know, Jason got laid off in January. So much of the month was spent looking for a new job. God was definitely looking out for us as Jason found a job with Frito Lay. He started this past Tuesday and so far really likes it. He thinks it is going to be very interesting. While it was rough being out of work, Jason really enjoyed the time he got to spend with the boys. It was also nice for me to have someone to help out around the house and with the kids! I will miss my stay at home dad, but I love the paycheck more!
