Organization

If your house is anything like mine, the toys have gotten out of control. We have a play area upstairs, but the problem is (1) It is small..aka can't hold all the toys and (2) It is upstairs and the boys want everything downstairs.

I think I finally solved the problem. I went and got two cube bookcases at target, some baskets and tags and we have organized everything. It has been this way for about 3 weeks now and seems to be working. Nicholas actually puts the toys back in the correct baskets and we all can find what we want to play with without dumping out the big basket of toys.

Our new organization. Bonus for me, I finally got a sofa table of sorts

Close up of baskets. I got the tags and stickers at Joanns. Bonus...Nicholas is learning the words and knows what they say now.

Weekend Getaway

Jason and I went to New Orleans last weekend without the kids who spent their weekend with Jason's Mom. We all had a great time. As you can tell from the picture below, the weather wasn't great, but we didn't care. I love my kids, but not having to chase them around for 2 days was wonderful! New Orleans is a crazy city. I liked visiting, but I wouldn't want to live there.

The boys drove down with Reenie (Jason's Mom) to the gulf coast of Mississippi to visit cousins. They had a blast and have talked about it for the past week.

Walking in Winter Wonderland...Southern Style

Thursday brought snow to Atlanta. We only got a half an inch, but it was enough to close schools on Friday. The boys loved playing in what little snow we got. Not enough for a snow man, but it was fun anyway.

Our house...yes notice the flag. It was hanging for the game on Thursday night...Roll Tide!

The boys...no snow playing is complete without trucks and hot wheels. Big N loved seeing the tracks left in the snow by the trucks.
