Snow!

Unless you have been living in a cave for the past week, you know that the south got some snow this past Friday. We registered around 3 inches on our outdoor table. It was so much fun! I don't know who enjoyed it more, me or the kids. Enjoy the pics!

Home Improvements and Chipmunk Dancing

Odd Title for a post right? We decided to tackle some home improvements this weekend. We replaced our wood balusters on our stairs with iron. It really wasn't that hard and the change is amazing! Pictures below

I think Jason and I might have a problem. We might need to go to AFA...Alabama Fans Anonymous. As you might know we are huge Alabama Fans. Both boys learned to say Roll Tide at a young age. They already bleed crimson and white! Of course, that is how every child should be raised right? Of course, you only have to step into our house to know where our loyalty lies as the pictures below demonstrate.

No Alabama wall would be complete without a pic of the Bear. This was a gift from my Mom and Dad. It is one of my favorites.

This was Jason's x-mas present (notice a theme yet of what Jason gets as gifts). It is the pencil drawing the the new Daniel Moore depicting the blocked field goal in the Tennessee Game this year. The completed picture gets mailed to us this month! Can't wait to see it.

Not much going on

Not much going on here. Rain, Cold, more rain and more cold. In the midst of rain and cold, I had a birthday. The big 3-2! Am I the only one that thinks your birthday was more fun before the big 3-0? My 3 favorite boys woke me up with a homemade card from my 2 little ones. They were so sweet singing happy birthday.

Below is what I woke up to this past Saturday. "Mommy, look we made a bed". They laid there all morning watching cartoons. They brought every stuffed animal down to join the party.

Last week, I started my new year improvements to the house. I pick one or two things to do every year. This year we decided we really needed some light in our family room. So, recessed lights. I love them! I'm already planning on putting some in the kitchen too.

Saturday I got to go shopping all day with my friend Carolyn. It was the best time. Below is one of the deals I got that day. I've always wanted this phone and found it at Dillard's for 75% off! Go me!

Here's hoping the rain and cold disappear soon. Nicholas starts tee-ball practice on Friday!
