Time Flying

Do you ever feel like time is on fast forward now that you have kids? I feel like I found out I was pregnant and blinked and now have a 5 year and a 2 year old. I couldn't imagine life without my little/big guys!

Batter Up

Nicholas stated playing t-ball this season. His 1st game was Saturday. To quote him, "Mommy, this was the best day of my life!" I guess that means he likes it. He was so cute in his uniform!

I'm a big kid now

A couple of weeks ago we took down Nolan's crib. He is officially in his big boy bed now! I must say, we have had our moments, but it has been so much better than when Nicholas moved to his big boy bed. Below are some before and after pics. The funniest thing about Nolan now is how many toys he takes to bed with him. I think he had about 15 cars and trains in there with him last night. Hey, it is helps him sleep he can take whatever he wants :)

Big Boy Bed
- the humps are from the pool noodles that are under the sheets. I got the tip out of parents magazine when Nicholas was a baby. You use them instead of bed rails. I highly recommend. They are easy to remove when company comes to stay in the bed and neither one of my kids have ever fallen out of bed. Much cheaper too. $1 a rail :)

These are the throw pillows I made out of his old crib sheet to match the curtains. I think they turned out pretty cute.

Born to be friends

Sorry I haven't written lately. Two kids + a job = not a lot of free time. Of course, being addicted to farmville hasn't helped either :)

Nicholas has started tee ball practice and has his 1st game this Saturday. He is so excited. I just hope that excitement lasts through the season.

Last weekend the boys and I went to Auburn to visit my friend Abby and Julie. I've known Abby since 1st grade and Julie since preschool I believe. We all became best friends in high school. Abby and Julie just had babies so we got together to see each other and the kids. This was #3 for Abby and #1 for Julie. Abby also has 2 boys around Nicholas's age and they love getting together and play. It was a great day. The boys slept the whole way back to Atlanta. Nice ride for Mommy!

These are the 2 new babies, Eva and Jude. They were so cute and sweet.

The big boys. I was glad we got 3 of them to look at the camera at the same time :)
