Blue Ridge

We headed to Blue Ridge Friday for the last weekend of Spring Break. Had a beautiful cabin in the woods, not far from the river. The boys loved it as well as Jason and I and Jason's mom who joined us. It was so relaxing and peaceful up there.

Birmingham Trip

This week is Nicholas's spring break. Since we have the whole week off, I decided it was the perfect time to drive over to Birminham and see some friends. So Monday, the boys and I packed up the car and headed that way. We stopped and saw Jason's Mom at work on the way and then arrived at my friend Julie's house. It was our first time at her new house. I was beautiful. Picture perfect neighborhood. We played at the park behind her house and then took a nature walk through the woods. Later that night, some old friends from college came over for dinner. It was so nice to see them and meet their kids.

The next day we went to the Birmingham zoo. Some other friends met us there with their kids. I didn't get a group pic of everyone (of course), but it was a big group. Amy and Kara from college along with their 5 kids. Julie, our hostess, with her son Jude. And last, but not least, my friend Mary who went to college with Jason along with 2 of her kids. All the kids got along so well and had a great time. It was a beautiful day. Not too hot, and not too cold. Sunny and not a cloud in the sky.

Girls Day

My sister decided to take a break and come visit on Saturday. I'm so glad she did! We had so much fun. She got here at 11am and we left for our day. We made it back to my house around 11:30 that night! Long day, but so much fun. We started the day with pedicures. The picture above is Jamie showing off her pretty new toes and her cool temporary shoes! We then grabbed some lunch at Panera Bread and then started shopping. We shopped until dinner and then I took her to my favorite restaurant, Pure. After some yummy food and even yummier margaritas we did some more shopping and then went and saw The Lincoln Lawyer. I thought is was really good. All in all, a great day. Some great bargains and the bestest company! I love my big sister and the best friend a girl could ever wish for!

Auto Show

Last Saturday we decided to head down to the Auto Show in downtown Atlanta since it was cold and rainy. It was my first time at a car show and I have to say it was really fun. It was neat to see the old cars and get to see and climb in all the new cars. The boys had a blast.
