Nolan's school held their first ever Winter carnival on Friday, Feb 3rd. It was so much fun. Games, prizes, pizza and friends!

Pine Car Derby

Better late than never :) Nicholas had his first Pine Car Derby with the cub scouts on January 21st. He placed second for the tigers! He raced the silver car below. Nolan raced the shark car in the siblings race and won best design! Go Alexanders!

100 Year Old Nicholas

Today was the 100th day of school for Nicholas. In celebration, the 1st graders dressed up like they were 100 years old! Nicholas was so into character. He was poking us with his cane, putting his hand to his ear and saying Uh? and had the old man face down! Take a look below.

Busy Saturday

We had a busy, but fun Saturday. We started with Nicholas's Basketball game. It was great as always. We then headed downtown to tour WSB (our ABC station) with the cub scouts. It was really neat to see how the news works behind the scenes.

After the tour, we drove to Athens, GA to watch the Alabama basketball team take on the Georgia Bulldogs. I have never been to Athens and really enjoyed seeing the campus. The game was great and Alabama won! Roll Tide! I loved watching and listening to Jason and Nicholas discuss the players and the plays during the game. Nolan enjoyed cheering with me!
