Hanging Tough

I got to realize a childhood dream last night....I got to see NKOTB in concert. Okay, you can stop laughing now....I was awesome! They mixed all the old songs with some new. The whole place was packed and stood the whole time singing and dancing. I felt like I was back in 7th grade again! Joey is still so cute! I couldn't believe that I remembered the words and some of dances. The funniest part was when they left the stage the first time they haven't yet sung Hanging Tough. I kid you not when I tell you that the whole arena started waving hands and singing Hanging Tough together to get them back out. They came back and sang Step by Step and Hanging Tough for a encore. If they are coming to a city near year, get a ticket and go. It was great to feel like a preteen again. And yes, the whole audience was 30 year old women, with a couple of kids and husbands that got dragged there. Thanks to my wonderful husband for letting me go, watching the kids so I could go and watching Julie's daughter so she could go too :) We didn't get home until almost 1am so I'm struggling this morning (I'm hanging tough ...sorry I couldn't help myself), but it was totally worth it!

Live from Atlanta

Sorry about it being turned the wrong way. I was holding the camera wrong :) This is Nicholas singing the peanut song (his version of it). Below are the real words to the song

2 little peanuts sitting on a track, there hearts were all a flutter. Along came a choo-choo on the track, Choo-Choo Peanut Butter.

My grandmomma taught me the song when I was a little girl and Nicholas loves it. Only a boy would add the additional word at the end!

He loves me, he really loves me

Jason is the morning guy around our house. I'm not a morning person, never have been and probably never will be. It has always worked out well since Jason is up everyday by 7 anyway...even on vacation with no kids! Drives me crazy sometimes, but I love it because he'll get up with the kids. The always come back to our bathroom to brush teeth and kiss me goodbye before they leave. Nolan has started wanting to get in bed with me and snuggle while Nicholas and Jason brush teeth and hair. This morning the routine was the same. They left the room to get ready to head out and I rolled over to try to catch a few more Zzzs before I had to get up for real. About 2 minutes later I hear my sweet little Nolan crawling across the hardwood floor to our room. He came right over to the bed and looked up at me. So we got a little more snuggle time today. It was so sweet. He laid down on my chest, snuggled in and started babbling to me. Man, that boy knows how to get to me :)

On another note, man is it cold! It is supposed to get down to freezing tonight and be back up to 70 by Friday. I really hope it does get up to 70 on Friday. It will make treat or tricking better if we are not freezing!

Cows, Pumpkins and Parties

Wow...what a Saturday! We woke up this morning and went to Cagle's Dairy Farm for the farm tour and to get our pumpkin. The farm tour was so neat. We got to see and feed the baby cows, see how a cow is milked (all the kids thought that was gross), and see how they bottle milk. We then went on a hay ride and got to see a pig race and see the dog herd the milking cows over to us. I highly recommend Cagle's if you live in Atlanta. There are two locations. We went to the one closer to Atlanta in Canton.

After the farm tour we picked out our pumpkin and headed home. I then got to go do a little x-mas shopping by myself! Then it was off to a birthday party for me and Nicholas. It was a costume party so Nicholas got to wear his football uniform again.

Whew...I'm tired! Now it's time to relax and watch some Alabama football...Roll Tide!
