Smart Grandmomma

This was our conversation on the way home...

Nicholas: Mommy, how did you know how to put the Alabama in my shoes? Did Aunt Jamie show you how?

Me: Yes, that's what big sisters are for to show you how to do things

Nicholas: Oh....who showed Aunt Jamie how to do it?

Me: I don't know

Nicholas: Grandmomma, because she is smart

Funny, he never asked who showed Grandmomma. I guess she is so smart she just knew how :)

Happy 18 Months Nolan

My sweet Nolan was 18 months old yesterday. Where did the time go? He is such a sweet little boy. He is really starting to talk. He loves saying "No No" and "Ready Set Go". We listened to him say Ready Set Go about 50 times the other day before he fell asleep for his nap. It was so funny. Nicholas really enjoyed it. I can't imagine life, no matter how crazy it gets, without with my little No-No around. He is working to break his Fruit Snack Addiction. He is down to 2 packs a day :)

FSA

I already have one son that is a member of CA (Cookie Anonymous) and now it looks like I have another that needs to join FSA (Fruit Snack Anonymous) . I guess admitting the problem is the first step. In the past couple of days Nolan has become hooked. He knows where to find them in the pantry, gets them, brings them to me and then goes and sits on the floor to eat them. He hides by the pantry...I think to keep big brother away from them :) I was trying to catch up on my blog reading this afternoon (priorities people) and he kept bringing me bags of them. Don't worry, he only had 2 bags. We start our 12 step program tomorrow :)

Farm Days in Dothan

We headed down to Dothan this weekend to see the fam and go to Farm Days at Landmark Park. We had a great time. The weather was perfect. We went to Farm Days with my mom and dad, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Don, and cousins Jake, Scout and Cole. The kids loved it. They are always so excited to go see everyone in Dothan and sad to leave. Nicholas has officially reached the age though where he asks every 5 minutes...are we there yet? We weren't even out of Atlanta and he started asking :) And as always I got told that Grandmomma and Granddaddy live sooooo far away :)
