Beach

 

We spent last weekend at Seagrove Beach.  Weather and water was great!  Nolan finally got in the ocean and wasn't scared.  Had a blast jumping the waves.  He looked at me and Jason and stated that this wasn't scary!  Little one is growing up.  Nicholas had a blast riding the waves on his Bogey board.  My Mom came down and joined us on Saturday.   The kids loved having Grandmomma all to themselves!

 

Let's Go Red Sox!

Fall Ball has begun.  I love fall baseball!  Nicholas is a Red Sox again and having a great time.  In his first game on Saturday he had multiple stops and made an out at third.  Batted once and got a base hit. 

 

Tonight was his second game.  3 times at bat and three hits!  Played Third at the bottom of the first and got all three outs for his team!  Bottom of the 2nd, awesome stop in left field with throw to 3rd for the out.  Bottom of the 3rd, stopped ball in right field and threw to 2nd for out.  Bottom of the 4th, out at 2nd while playing short stop!  A great game that earned him the game ball!  I was most proud to see him leading the cheers for his team mates while they were batting.  He kept the cheers going.  Great way to support your team mates!

Wolf Scouting begins

We started our Wolf Year of Cub Scouting off with a bang.  We had a pack extravaganza Saturday afternoon - Sunday morning.  The individual dens competed against each other for the extravaganza cup.  Our den didn't win, but had a great time trying.  One of the events was the rain gutter regatta.  Each boy made a boat and then raced down rain gutters by blowing into the sails.   Nicholas had the fastest time for his den which was 18.3 seconds.  They also played ping pong ball tic tac toe and had a M&M relay race.  Each den performed a skit as well.  Roasting marshmallows, capture the flag and a camp out completed the evening.  Nicholas and Jason had a blast camping out...okay Nicholas more than Jason :)

1st day of school

Nicholas started the 2nd grade on August 13th.  Loving it so far.  Still can't believe he is old enough to be in 2nd grade though!

 

 

Nolan started Pre-K this morning, August 28th.  Where has the time gone?  He walked right in by himself and sat down and started playing.  Hope the mornings go that smooth all year long!
