What I have doing...

I have been busy the last couple of days...
First, after 7 years of marriage I finally got a china cabinet and got to unpack my china. Yeah!

I have also been sewing. As you know I have only boys, so my niece Scout benefits from my need to make girly things :)

These are for Nolan and my nephew Cole. Choo...Choo. The trains and clouds are made out of felt and hand stitched around the edge.

For Scout, just sewed buttons in the shape of an "S". Saw it in a catalog and thought it would be easy to make and I was right :)

Scout loves pigs.

Wouldn't be fall without something to wear on football Saturdays. I love the dress. It is a t-shirt with two ruffles sewed across the bottom. The other shirt is for my Nolan.

Walking with the Dinosaurs

The boys and I went and saw Walking with Dinosaurs yesterday. One word...Awesome! The boys sat there mesmerized. The dinos were so life like.

Future Roll Tiders

Nicholas got excited seeing football on TV last night so he ran up to his room and got his Alabama football helmet. Of course, little bit had to try it on as well. They then proceeded to play a game with Daddy in the family room.

This is his mean football face :)

Nolan's 2nd B-day Party

We had Nolan's 2nd b-day party at Jason's Mom's House on Sunday. I can't believe he will be 2 in a couple of days! It was a great party. It was baseball themed. The invites were tickets to the game. I don't have a pic, but if anyone is interested, let me know and I'll take one. They were really easy to make. Thanks for everyone who came!

1st Soccer Game and Fair Fun

Nicholas had his 1st soccer game this past Saturday. He loved it although we have some work to do before we are ready for the pros! He did score a goal, but it just happened to be in the other teams goal!

Shaking hands after the game

Sunday we went to the Old Country Fair that was being held in Alpharetta. The boys got to ride ponys, go on a train ride, and pan for gold. They had so much fun.

A little can do a lot

The picture above is of my boys with Jason's parents. It was taken about a week after Nolan was born. It is still shocking to look back and think that 6 months after this picture was taken he would no longer be with us. Nicholas still asks about his Pops all the time. As some of you might know, Earl passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in March of 2008. My Mother-in-law has set up a page in his honor on the Pan-Can website (see link below). I know times are tight and we often get asked from numerous people to donate to various things, but imagine what we could do if everyone donated just $5. That's giving up a fast food meal for the week so that another family won't have to lose their husband, brother, son, grandfather. This disease takes so many so fast because it is hard to detect in the early stages. Your donation will help to solve that so that people can get diagnosed early and get treatment before the cancer has spread. Thanks and God Bless!

Labor Day at the Lake

We spent the labor day weekend at the lake with Jason's Mom and brother. We had a great time! Both the boys love the water. We had a great dinner over at Uncle Charles's house on Sunday in memory of Jason's Dad. It was wonderful to see all the family and watch all the kids play (go wild) together.

As soon as we got there Nicholas jumped on the lawnmower with Uncle Justin and helped him cut the grass

Both of the boys loved the boat rides

Field Trip

Nicholas had his 1st field trip yesterday. I met them at the park for some playtime and lunch. All of the kids in his class are so cute and it was so much fun.

This is where Nicholas spent most of his time...swinging
