Fight Song

Jason played the fight song for Nicholas a couple of weeks ago and he is now obsessed with it. He loves this part...

"go teach the bulldogs to behave, send the yellow jackets to a watery grave"

We were behind a car last week that had a GA Tech Yellow Jacket sticker on the window and Nicholas yelled out.."Mom, we send them to a watery grave!" It was so funny. He also loves to talk about his friend Gavin at school that wears his UGA stuff all the time. He is going to teach him to behave!

I love it! He can't wait to see Big Al in a couple of weeks at the GA/AL basketball game that he is taking Daddy too. It was part of Daddy's x-mas.

Brotherly Love

Just when you are about to kill them, well the big one anywhere, for bothering and taking toys from each other they do something to remind you that they do love each other. Sorry, I don't have a picture. Nicholas was eating his Popsicle last night and I heard Nolan laughing. They were both in the kitchen and Nicholas was sharing his Popsicle with this baby brother. It was so cute and I was amazed that Nicholas was being so loving and sharing. Normally we want everything that little brother has and touches.

New Year Resolutions

Okay, so it is that time of year again...time to make New Year Resolutions. I've been thinking about this a lot for the last couple of days. There are many things I would like to change, but let's be realistic somethings are never going too. I have decided that I'm going to try to slow down life a little and try to spend more time with the kids. I feel most Mon-Fri that I'm running in about 12 different directions once work is over and I'm going, going, going until the kids go to bed. Does anybody else feel this way? How is one person supposed to do it all? Cook dinner, clean up, play with kids and have two seconds to myself? Is it possible without losing my mind? How does Michelle Duggar do it? So, my resolution is to try to not get so stressed out about the small things. I can always clean after the kids go to bed or the house can stay messy for one more day. My boys are only going to be young once. Also, I learned yesterday about something that is going to help me in my change. I now get to work from home 3 days a week! Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. This will really help. I can get laundry done and work out at lunch instead of at night, which means more time with the kids. I'm so excited!
So, readers, what are your resolutions for the New Year?

Happy New Year

Is it really 2009 already? I can't believe it. We had a great New Years Eve. We had 3 other families over for dinner. It was so much fun. All of them have young kids so Nicholas and Nolan had a blast playing with everyone. I was impressed...the kids made it until around 10:30 before they started passing out. Nicholas was so exhausted the next day. He took a 3 hour nap which never happens. New Years Day we all spent a lazy day at home and today Nicholas and I went and met some friends for lunch and went shopping. I got the cutest Alabama x-mas plate at 50% off and some cute material at JoAnn's to start making some spring/summer outfits. I'm washing the fabric right now so I can start cutting out tonight. Doesn't take much to excite me does it?
I hope you all had a great New Years. Here's to 2009!

Below are some cute pics of the kids.

I don't think that is how Pottery Barn invisioned the chairs being used :)
